Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) celebrated 30 years with theirannual A Time For Heroes Family Festival on October 28 at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. Style & Society’s Kinya Claiborne, Olivia Munn, Ariel Winter, Sarah and Erin Foster came out to show their support. The festivities kicked off at noon and included a day of fun where guests enjoyed carnival activities including hula hooping, life-sized jenga, a virtual reality booth, painting, DIY cookie decorating, and more. The day was capped off with an upbeat performance by HIV-positive Danish singer, Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn.
The global leader in the fight to end AIDS in children, A Time for Heroes raises critical funds needed to end AIDS in children. Since its inception in 1990, the event has raised more than 35 million dollars toward its goal of creating a world where no child has AIDS. This work has prevented over 300,000 pediatric HIV infections since 2004.
