‘Parasite’ led the 92nd Academy Awards, taking home four awards, including Best Picture, becoming the first film not in the English language to do so. 1917 won three awards, while Ford v Ferrari, Joker, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood won two awards each. On the acting side, Joaquin Phoenix continued his winning streak by winning Best Actor for his performance in ‘Joker’ and Renee Zellweger won for her performance in ‘Judy’. Other award winners included Brad Pitt, Laura Dern, and Boong Jong Ho. The Oscars also featured musical performances by Janelle Monae, Phineas, Billie Eilish, Sir Elton John, and a surprise performance from Eminem who performed “Lose Yourself”.

Mercedes-Benz Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party
Mercedes-Benz hosted its annual Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills. Guests enjoyed a live broadcast of the show including Jon Hamm, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rashida Jones, Will.i.am, Jane Lynch, Martha Stewart, Trevor Jackson and many more.
EMILY’s List Brunch
EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, hosted a pre-Oscars brunch and panel discussion at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills titled, “Defining Women: The Power of Lifting-Up Women’s Voices from Hollywood to Washington DC.” EMILY’s List brought together a powerhouse mix of the entertainment industry and elected leaders and activists for a conversation about the challenges women in entertainment and politics continue to face and the importance of paving the way towards greater equality and inclusion. Attendees included Uzo Aduba, Eva Longoria, Amber Tamblyn, and Chelsea Handler.

Red Carpet Green Dress Pre-Oscars Gala
The annual Red Carpet Green Dress (RCGD) Pre-Oscars Gala in partnership with TENCEL Luxe hosted an intimate dinner and cocktail party with over 100 friends, partners and industry executives to celebrate their collaboration with textile giant Lenzing’s new luxury brand TENCEL Luxe, to launch a range of eco-couture materials.
The event was held at the Absolut Elyx house in the Hollywood Hills, where RCGD founder Suzy Amis Cameron’s husband James Cameron hosted the evening. Celebrities in attendance included this year’s ambassadors Kaitlyn Dever, Léa Seydoux, and Elena Andreicheva, along with Tiffany Haddish, Meena Suvari, Zelda Williams and Tyrese Gibson.

GBK 2020 Pre Oscar Lounge
GBK Productions hosted a two-day luxury gifting lounge in honor of the 2020 Academy Awards. Held at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood, Oscar Nominees, past winners and other celebrity guests were gifted this year’s hottest trips and gifts totaling over $60K. Guests in attendance included Style & Society’s Kinya Claiborne, Marica Gay Harden, Cicely Tyson and cast members from 1917, Star Wars, Harriet, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, The Irishman, and Knives Out. Guests received items from Dapper and Dashing tuxedoes, Parasuco denim, iiRcade gaming arcade, Artisan Group handcrafted gifts, Source Naturals supplements and more.
