In celebration of International Women’s Day, Bumble Bizz teamed up with Capitol Music Group to celebrate the power of connection by co-hosting an event filled with music, thought-provoking discussions, rosé and more for young professionals. After arriving in style at Casita Hollywood via Lyft, guests were invited to take new career headshots powered by Bumble Bizz, Bumble’s fresh take on social networking with an emphasis on finding professional opportunities over job hunting, along with makeup touchups provided by GlamSquad. The evening also included a giveaway from Fender Musical Instruments Corporation of one of their iconic guitars.
Amber Grimes, who leads Capitol Music Group’s Innovation Team, hosted a happy hour, which was followed by a performance from Capitol Records recording artist Grace Weber. Brenda Tarjan, a Retirement Plan Relationship Manager with SageView Advisory Group, then shared ‘5 Healthy Financial Habits for 2019’ and fielded questions from attendees about a wide range of strategies and tools. The conversation then shifted to how women can succeed in male-dominated industries, with insights from a panel of women including Sandy Nunez, ESPN; Moya Nkruma; Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, Briana Valdez HomeState, and more!
