New York City’s infamous West Village has welcomed a new culinary concept and locals are eating it up, literally. KUT is the new Mediterranean themed casual kebab concept located on the bustling Carmine Street. What’s even better is their conservative price point that equates to your average morning coffee run.
The menu boasts of an elegant simplicity; healthy, authentic, flavorful food options modeled from the most simplistic Kebab stands that line the streets of France. The French Chef and Entrepreneur, Flourent De Brunelis, provides an unpretentious menu with the freshest ingredients prepared daily and a signature marinated roasted chicken (Shawarma) cut to perfection, and gourmet veggies.
Guests can choose between a sandwich, a kuttie (half sandwich), a durum (flat bread) or a salad (bowl) accompanied with an array of hot and cold fillings that includes a Mediterranean-spiced ratatouille, caramelized onions, house slaw, and garlic hummus. KUT also offers tasty vegetarian options, which can be paired with a Brooklyn Lager or their popular Iced Nana Mint Tea.
You can taste the dedication to quality in each bite and can’t resist filling up the popular flatbread with a palette of options as they offer four signature sauces: a white yogurt-based sauce, a red tomato & harissa sauce, a green parsley and jalapeno option, and the “Samurai” with mayonnaise, ketchup, harissa & lemon juice.
KUT’s elegant yet simplistic flavorful menu along with its speedy convenience makes this our new go to in West Village.
