If pink is power, then no other color would be more perfect for this sneaker collection, created by Josefinas in honor of digital women entrepreneurs Emily Weiss, founder of Glossier; Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Gal and Girl Boss; Whitney Wolfe, founder of Bumble; Tyler Haney, founder of Outdoor Voices; and Jessica Alba, founder of The Honest Company. As a brand made by women for women, Josefinas is celebrating them with the launch of five sneakers, in five different shades of pink, one for each of these female entrepreneurs.
The Portuguese shoe brand created a sneaker collection called B Yourself that’s inspired by these digital female entrepreneurs. Josefinas empowers women through shoes, with each creation sending a message that inspires, empowers, supports and helps transform the world into a just place for women. The brand also takes pride in helping women grow their businesses – whether with technical advice and support or through Women for Women International by helping women develop skills to start their own small businesses.
Although the B Yourself collection is inspired by five female entrepreneurs, Josefinas message to all women is “Be yourself. Rely on women support and support back but keep your voice yours.” To celebrate each woman’s uniqueness, shoppers can personalize their own B Yourself sneakers so they can “walk proudly in their own name”.
