The biggest stars in music and entertainment gathered to support Bodywell and MEND’s 2025 Critics’ Choice & Grammy Fire Relief Lounge, presented by GBK Brand Bar. This year’s GBK ‘Giving Lounge’ was dedicated to benefiting Americares, providing much-needed supplies and funds for victims of the devastating LA wildfires. After several reschedules due to the wildfires, GBK Brand Bar successfully resumed its highly anticipated Critics’ Choice Award Lounge in combination with the Grammy Lounge, creating an unforgettable experience that blended luxury with philanthropy.
GBK Brand Bar announced a meaningful partnership with Americares, a health-focused relief and development organization committed to helping communities worldwide access essential healthcare during disasters and daily life. Celebrities in attendance had the unique opportunity to fulfill over 1,500 hygiene and clean-up kits on-site, which will be distributed to individuals affected by the recent devastation of the LA wildfires. This hands-on effort highlighted the event’s mission to bring relief and support to those in need. GBK was also proud to partner with Crew Nation, a charitable fund created by Live Nation, to assist in aid for the wildfire victims.
The Critics’ Choice & Grammy Awards Lounge welcomed a star-studded guest list, featuring some of the biggest names in music, film, and television. Celebrities spotted at the event included Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Casey Affleck, Mekhi Phifer, and Adina Porter, alongside Grammy winners and nominees like Lalah Hathaway, Ricky Bell, and Johnny Gill of New Edition. The presence of these celebrated artists underscored the event’s significance in both the entertainment industry and the community it aimed to support.
Attendees were treated to an array of luxurious gifts and experiences, with an estimated value of over $60,000 per guest. Bodywell, a pioneering American biotech company, showcased their cutting-edge technology designed to mitigate the potential effects of electromagnetic radiation. MEND captivated guests with their luxury skincare products, harnessing the power of stem cells and gold nanoparticles to elevate traditional skincare standards. Neurovalens, a global leader in wearable neurotechnology, gifted their flagship product, Modius Sleep, a non-invasive headset designed to enhance sleep quality without the need for medication. SingleTree Lane, known for its unique, culturally diverse fashion, and Koulianos Designs, offering sterling silver custom-crafted jewelry inspired by antique Coat of Arms and family crests, also delighted attendees with their offerings.
In addition to these exclusive products, guests received dream vacations and high-fashion items. Highlights included a two-night stay for four adults at Raiwasa in Fiji, a property recognized by the World Boutique Hotel Awards, and clothing from renowned designers Claude Kameni and Shari Henry. Beauty enthusiasts were treated to Luenell Iconic perfume by Arzo and lip treatments from Pretty Pout, featuring lip balm butters, sticks, and spicy plumping lip oils.
Culinary delights and home essentials added to the opulent atmosphere. Guests indulged in gourmet food and beverages curated by Vuelo Tequila, Hertelendy Vineyards wines, Ike’s Love and Sandwiches, and a vibrant candy bar by Cocoa and Candy. Home goods, including candles from Lumiere Rene Candle Company and Imbibe Lifestyles’ orthopedically designed pearl pillows infused with copper, silver, and cooling gel, rounded out the luxurious experience.
At its core, the event was about more than just glamour and gifts. Americares, one of the world’s leading nonprofit providers of donated medicine and medical supplies, reaches an average of 85 countries annually, including the U.S., with life-changing health programs, medical supplies, and emergency aid. The 2025 Critics’ Choice & Grammy Fire Relief Lounge was not just an exclusive celebrity gathering but a heartfelt effort to support communities in need. Through their collaboration with Americares, Crew Nation, and an impressive roster of brands, GBK Brand Bar, Bodywell, and MEND demonstrated the powerful impact of blending celebrity influence with philanthropic purpose.
