The Paley Center for Media hosted day five of its 11th Annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews honoring the OWN series Queen Sugar at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills on September 10. The cast dawned the “purple” carpet eager to share their thoughts of show’s mid-season return. If that was not enough, Paley premiered the returning episode, which will air October 9th on OWN, to a ready and raving crowd, all gasping at the show’s new revelations and major reveals.
Every sweet tooth in the crowd got a heathy ‘Sugar’ fix once the cast and the show’s Creator and Executive producer, Ava DuVernay, came out for a panel discussion and Q&A. Panelists included cast members Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Omar Dorsey, Dondre Whitfield, Bianca Lawson, and more with Deadline’s Dominic Patten as the moderator.
The Paley Center for Media hosts the ten-day festival celebrating Fall TV’s most anticipated new and returning series including shows from all four major broadcast networks, cable television, and premium streaming services. PaleyFest Fall TV Previews is open to the public and tickets are currently on sale.
