Hendrick’s Gin is traveling across the America in a giant cucumber slicer with the sole purpose of offering the most beautifully garnished Hendrick’s Gin cocktails ever to grace a glass. The Hendrick’s Grand Garnisher can travel road speeds of up to 25 mph and slice up to 18 cucumbers per hour. The vehicle commenced its maiden voyage from New York City on June 14, World Cucumber Day and has since been driving westward across the continent, seeking to delight onlookers, cocktail-lovers and cucumber aficionados alike.
Hendrick’s Gin rolled through Los Angeles and celebrated the arrival of the unusual Hendrick’s Grand Garnisher with a swanky cocktail party on August 22 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel where guests enjoyed lots of rose and cucumber infused Hendrick’s cocktails. Hendrick’s Gin will also be participating in the Los Angeles Food & Wine festival August 24-27, where they will serve up cocktails to guests with the Hendrick’s Grand Garnisher.
