Daniels and a new Gin & Tonic bar. Their addictive bar bites and delectable dishes are inspired by California’s bounty and local farmers, fishermen, and artisan purveyors. Now boasting with over 60 varietals of gin at Ashland Hill’s full-scale Gin & Tonic inspired bar, guests now can enjoy the best of both bar and restaurant worlds.
Ashland Hill’s eclectic dishes, and patio vibes have always been a big hit, offering shade for beer geeks to gather at their taproom and offering crowd-friendly addictive bar bites to satiate the hungriest of appetites. Chef Greg brought his unique approach of cooking to Ashland Hill by instilling fresh seasonal flavors and redeveloping familiar items that Ashland Hill’s customers came to love over the past year. Guests can expect to see some familiar menu items with an updated approach as well as brand new items such as Burrata with jalapeno pea mash, caramelized onion, sugar snap peas, pea leaves on toasted sourdough. Diners will also see new seafood items like steamed mussels, grilled octopus and poached salmon, which will be a treat to the seaside community.
The gin and tonic menu list includes a hand-crafted and gin-only inspired menu by Italian mixologist and mainstay of LA’s cocktail scene, Vincenzo Marianella. Imbiber-in-chief and renaissance barman, Marianella is now bringing his globally renown drinks to Main St. in Santa Monica where locals can swig on these summertime drinks year round. Ashland Hill will also showcase ingredients such as homemade honey ginger syrup, lavender, and yuzu. Marianella’s concoctions will also highlight lesser known gins such as the domestic Caprock Dry Organic Gin, infused with Jonathan Apples and foraged dried botanicals.
