Refinery29’s highly anticipated 29Rooms: Expand Your Reality pop-up has returned to Los Angeles with an exciting list of traveling artist installations, new branded rooms and returning fan favorites. Fulfilling all your photo-worthy dreams, the immersive pop-up puts attendees at the center of the event, inviting them to step into the unexpected and tap into the curiosity and creativity of the experience.
The festival of culture, cause and creativity includes a diverse group of local and national collaborators across the spectrum of art, culture, tech, entertainment, politics and style including new brand collaborations with Facebook, Hulu, KeVita, Lola, Mugler, Smashbox, Uber and more! Themed Expand Your Reality, the tour aims to open guests up to new experiences, providing a chance to connect, explore, and discover.
New to Los Angeles, 29Rooms features artist collaborations that reflect Refinery29’s commitment to supporting innovative talent such as The Art Park and The Traveling Billboard. The Art Park is an artist collective initiative, which invites five artists from around the country to transform a geometric playground into a canvas for creativity including NNEKKAA, Yvette Mayorga, Dan Lam, hanski and Trap Bob. The Traveling Billboard is a full-scale billboard mural welcoming guests to 29Rooms and highlighting trailblazing voices such as Sarah Emerson and HATECOPY (Maria Qamar).
Building even further on the acclaimed Expand Your Reality experience, for the first time 29Rooms Los Angeles features Portraits With A Stranger, an interactive photo-studio guided by choreographer Micaela E. Taylor where strangers are invited to connect with one another through physical movement, icebreakers and choreography before posing for a portrait.
The event will be open to the public in Los Angeles now through November 17 with tickets starting at $25.
