Some of the biggest names in the world of sports and entertainment gathered at the LaPeer Hotel in West Hollywood for a star-studded evening at the Teqball USA Pre-ESPY Luxury Lounge, presented by GBK Brand Bar and LA Magazine. The event was a celebration of athleticism, style, and philanthropy, bringing together ESPY Awards Nominees and Presenters, Past Winners and Presenters, Top Sports Stars, Celebrities, and Influencers.
The ESPY Awards, an annual event honoring the outstanding achievements in sports, served as the perfect backdrop for this exclusive lounge experience. Among the esteemed guests were celebrated athletes like David Justice, Akbar Gbajabiamila, TJ Ward, James Worthy, Odafe Oweh, Dion Dawkins, and many others, along with surprise guest and human rights activist Richard Lapchick, who received the prestigious Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award at the ESPYS.
At the core of the event was Teqball, a rapidly growing international sport founded by Gábor Borsányi, played on a specially curved table known as the TEQ™ table. Teqball is capturing the hearts of athletes and amateur enthusiasts (teqers) alike, as it promotes technical skills, concentration, and stamina. Guests had the opportunity to experience the excitement of the game and even play for their favorite charities.
The lounge was not just about sports and entertainment; it was also about giving back. GBK Brand Bar, led by CEO Gavin Keilly, is renowned for its commitment to philanthropy and social responsibility. Partnering with organizations like Best Buddies, Eli A. Wolfe Memorial Fund for Justice in Sport, and The Alexander Graham Bell (AG Bell) Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, GBK Brand Bar used the event as a platform to raise awareness and funds for these worthy causes.
As guests mingled and enjoyed the festivities, they were treated to an array of exciting gifts from the event sponsors.
