AltaMed Food & Wine Festival returned to Los Angeles bringing together music, celebrity chefs, restaurants, and wineries to benefit AltaMed’s programs and services supporting health and wellness. The annual event celebrated the richness of Latin food and the success of Latino-owned vineyards in California and Mexico by pairing gourmet cuisine with fine wines.

Now in its 13th year, AltaMed’s signature event ‘East LA Meets Napa’ provided Latin food and wine tasting from the famed Napa Valley. The event was held at LA LIVE, the epicenter of live entertainment and dining in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Guest enjoyed live entertainment,tastings presented by world-renowned celebrity chefs from over 70 top LA restaurants and premium vintners where attendees embarked on a wine tasting journey stretching from the famed Napa Valley, through many of Argentina’s vast wine regions.

Guests were invited to “Savor, Celebrate, Support AltaMed,” as proceeds from the event benefitted AltaMed’s programs that provide access to health and dental care, senior services, HIV treatment and prevention, teen mentoring programs, health education and more, striving toeliminate health care disparities throughout Southern California. Proceeds from ticket sales supported AltaMed’s nearly 50 accredited health centers in Southern California that provide primary care services, senior care programs and essential community services.
