Los Angeles’ foodies celebrated the 2018 Global Cuisine Awards at the Beverly Hilton honoring the worlds best tastemakers, restaurateurs and chefs in local, national and international markets. Honorees included Felix, Spago, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, Mr. Chow, Howlin’ Ray’s, Odys + Penelope and more, who were recognized for their impact on the world’s food community and their contribution to the growing culinary scene.
The awards followed the Sino-U.S. Cultural Industry Summit, which featured a series of discussions including “2018 Culinary Industry Trends” with by Krista Simmons of Fork In The Road Media, “Cooking In LA’s Melting Pot” with the Travel Channel’s Jeff Miller and “The Culture of Sharing” moderated by Roy Ying, President of the U.S. – China Sister City Association.
The award recipients are chosen from four categories, an anonymous group of culinary professionals, published food critics, public review websites and GTMG recommendation.
