
Hollywood transformed into the vibrant world of Pandora last night as cast, filmmakers, and celebrity guests gathered at the iconic Dolby Theatre for the world premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The highly anticipated third installment in James Cameron’s history-making franchise opens exclusively in theaters worldwide on December 19 across premium formats including IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema 3D, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX and more.
Stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, and CCH Pounder were among the cast members who hit the blue-carpet event in celebration of the next chapter of the global phenomenon. Director, co-writer, and producer James Cameron also appeared alongside the film’s creative team—including co-screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, story contributors Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno, production designers Ben Procter and Dylan Cole, director of photography Russell Carpenter, costume designer Deborah L. Scott, and composer Simon Franglen.
The premiere drew an impressive roster of special guests as well, including Miley Cyrus, Andrew Wyatt, Billie Eilish, Finneas, Dr. Dre, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Diplo, NFL star Puka Nacua, and Michelle Rodriguez—further fueling Hollywood buzz for what is positioned to be one of the year’s biggest cinematic events.
