In a splendid fusion of art, culture, and philanthropy, the LA Art Show Opening Night Premiere Party, held on February 14th, 2024, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, marked a vibrant start to the Los Angeles art season. This special event, hosted on the International Day of Love, not only showcased the city’s rich art landscape but also highlighted the critical mission of the American Heart Association (AHA), emphasizing the profound connection between art and well-being.
Award-winning actress Lucy Hale, known for her roles in “Pretty Little Liars” and the upcoming romantic drama “Which Brings Me To You,” graced the event as the official host. Hale’s engagement with the LA Art Show, a longstanding beacon for art enthusiasts in its 29th year, brought an added layer of glamour and significance to the evening. The event’s alignment with AHA’s Life Is Why™ Campaign, which inspires individuals to cherish their motivations for living healthier, longer lives, was passionately advocated by Hale and the AHA team during the night.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the presence of NFL player Damar Hamlin, who shared his poignant experience of overcoming cardiac arrest. With a commitment to support the AHA, the LA Art Show announced that 15% of all ticket proceeds would be donated to the AHA’s Life Is Why™ Campaign.
