German influencer twins Lisa & Lena hosted a pop-up for the U.S. debut of their BUFFALO x J1MO71 BY LISA & LENA shoe collection in downtown Los Angeles. Celebrating the launch of the much-anticipated collaboration, the event featured the new Buffalo J1mo71 line, meet & greet with the twins, DJ tunes and unique artwork.
Offering innovative and exciting footwear styles that indicate a strong personality, Buffalo became a trendy brand in the 90s when the Spice Girls toured the world wearing the brand’s signature chunky sneakers. The Buffalo J1mo71 collection offers casual footwear for a young, trend-conscious target group. The product range includes caps, hoodies, dresses and much more. Inspired by the 90s, the three sneaker styles the twins Lisa and Lena created includes a chunky sole, an all over denim style, and neon colors and with reflective elements.
In a digital era where superficial likes on social media seem to count more than liking yourself, as part of the shoe launch, Buffalo and Lisa & Lena decided to start a campaign for more self-love. The collaboration with the twins marked the highlight of BUFFALOs #NOTLIKED campaign which started in June 2019.
