Womenswear Fashion Designer, Christian Cowan and The Powerpuff Girls debuted their bold and bright capsule collection during a runway show on International Women’s Day in Los Angeles. The collection celebrates girl power highlighting strong women at the core of both brands and blends the iconic trio’s colorful and action-packed embodiment of true girl power. The runway show featured a diverse group of women including Paris Hilton and Maye Musk who both walked the show. Other celebs in attendance included Heidi Klum, Erika Jayne, Tinashe, Amanda Steele, Carly Rae Jepsen, Skai Jackson, and more.
Christian’s signature sequins and feathers were featured throughout the designs, along with bohemian crafted Preciosa crystals, giving the collection a power punch of fearlessness. The silhouettes vary from structured glittered sets to a colorful feathered mini dress, showing that any attire works when fighting for good.
With his youthful take on how modern-day women dress and his lively spirit, he uses his creative powers to create collections that truly stand out. Christian has garnered a strong celebrity following, dressing the world’s biggest stars such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Naomi Campbell, Nicki Minaj, CardiB., Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and more.
The Powerpuff Girls and Christian Cowan share the support for gender equality, and the collaboration benefits She’s the First (STF), a nonprofit organization that fights gender inequality through education.
