Where else can you lift donuts, try on a hamburger dress, swim in cereal and climb food? Cheating has never been so fun for foodies at Cheat Day Land, a new pop-up museum celebrating junk food in Downtown Los Angeles! Offering an imaginative environment in themes of your favorite foods, the month-long immersive pop-up museum features 15 unique installations of cheat meal-themed rooms stocked with larger-than-life food art from local artists.
Founder and creative director, Rubi Rymenmy was inspired by Japan’s interactive museums to mix immersive art with all of her favorite “Cheat Day” foods. Visitors can ride a mechanical hot dog, snap photos in a life-sized bowl of cereal and climb up a wall of donuts. The concept of the museum comes from people who share a love for food and art. Admission is $38 with tickets available here for a limited time.
