The Bowery Bar & Fare is bringing elevated carnival eats to Rockville Centre, Long Island with street food and carnival classics. The circus isn’t in town, however this colorful restaurant serves up childhood favorites and also an outdoor patio where guest can play games like Jenga and life size checkers.
The Bowery Bar & Fare came to furition with the help of Nick Marolachakis, Nick Galanis and Matthew Kouskalis. All three entrepreneurs opened 4 successful restaurants named Bareburgers before the concept of The Bowery Bar and Fare was imagined. With several successful restaurants under their belts, the concept of The Bowery Bar and Fare was established and has been a staple in their Long Island neighborhood ever since.
The show stopper is the menu, which includes carnival nostalgia, such as their mini corndogs with honey mustard and dipping sauce, plus baco street tacos with a choice of BBQ park hosin chicken, or bugogi beef. Are your taste buds craving sandwiches? The sandwich sections will make you order seconds with mouth watering favorites like ham and cheese with fig jam and the donut burger, including cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and Bowery sauce on a glazed donut.
If your are in for the long haul, the main attraction on their menu is the skirt steak. A fan favorite, it includes Korean barbeque sauce and taco al pastor. Another standout is fish and chips which include beer batter cod with curly fries, tarter sauce coleslaw and malt vinegar.
Breakfast for lunch is the way to go on weekends with a variety of options including corned beef hash with hash brown, diced onions, corned beef, fried eggs, or the waffle dog with waffle skew, a beef hotdog and syrup.
Feeling thirsty and want to turn up? The drink section will have your taste buds wanting more. Fools gold is one of the popular drinks on the menu mixing bourbon, fresh lemon and honey. There are also a variety of boozy snowcones shaved in-house, 24 beers on tap, and a special watermelon blonde ale brewed just for The Bowery by Lithology Brewing Co.
