Kiln recently launches their debut collection fulfilling the need of casual, yet elegant, high-end clothing for everyday wear. Ranging in price from $115-$625, Kiln’s 90-piece debut collection includes dresses, fashion overalls, shorts, loose-fitting pants and T-shirts for women, and T-shirts, pants, shorts, short-sleeved, collared shirts, hoodies and jackets for men.
Headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles, KILN pieces are flattering to a variety of body types, including the easy-to-wear Adjustable Strap Dress from the women’s collection, designed to complement different body types with thoughtful details that allow the wearer to tailor their style with adaptable elements at the waist, hem, and neckline. With a specific niche market targeted at ages 35 to 40 years, both the men and women’s collections go large, with men’s sizes being offered up to a 2X and women’s sizes going up to a 16.
The collection focuses on articulate design and fabrics with a modern, clean aesthetic encompassing a subdued color palette. While Kiln’s garments are manufactured in limited runs in Los Angeles, the company sources fabrics—including jersey, canvas, washed silk, rayon georgette and linen—from around the world.
