The 7th annual SIMPLY LA fashion and beauty conference powered by Who What Wear took over The Americana At Brand on August 11 where influencers and digital marketers got tips from Kat Graham, Lo Bosworth, Jeannie Mai, Becca Tilley, Emeraude Toubia and more. Connecting stylists, bloggers, editors and tastemakers, the conference provides tools and tips from a panel of industry experts to those interested in social media, influencers and digital marketing focused on the fashion and beauty industry.
Conference-goers choose between The Influencer Track and The Digital Marketing Track and also enjoyed a designer fashion and beauty brand experience. The Influencer Track was geared towards those wanting to learn about how to grow their audience, monetize their influence, and turn their blogging hobby into a career, while the Digital Marketing Track offered the latest in marketing tools and techniques and guidance to understanding how to run successful influencer campaigns.
Highlights included keynote speaker Kat Graham who spoke about her new upcoming projects coming out on Netflix, and her new Sunglass line called Foster Grant, inspired by 90’s icons Cindy Crawford, Madonna and Grace Jones. Former MTVs ‘The Hills’ co-star Lo Bosworth Lo spoke on the Create Your Voice and Make An Impact panel where she discussed how reality TV was difficult adjusting to in her early 20’s and how it affected her relationships.
