The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills is kicking off summer with the relaunch of the Boxwood on the Roof, Los Angeles’ most beloved summer rooftop concept. British style flawlessly melded with a Southern California twist, the summer 2018 season of Boxwood on the Roof features fresh new menus, cool new cocktail selections, programmed nights and a revamped space designed for sharing and socializing.
Fresh off a $11 million renovation, modern luxury is woven subtly into every aspect of the hotel, from the entrance and lobby to the garden-inspired rooftop pool deck including the 11,000 square foot bi-level Penthouse Inspired by Vivienne Westwood. With its sweeping city views and playfully sophisticated vibe, Boxwood on the Roof offers guests and locals alike the perfect oasis for al fresco dining and mingling, while the panoramic rooftop pool deck offers private cabanas, cocktails and light bites.
Executive Chef Anthony Keene is at the helm of all of the hotel’s distinctive culinary venues, including Boxwood, rooftop poolside dining, as well as the seasonal Rooftop West restaurant and lounge. Known for his inventive and playful twists on New American cuisine and the top trending seasonal ingredients, Executive Chef Anthony Keene created a vibrant new menu that takes each guest on a gastronomic adventure. Chef Keene’s summer menu reflects the eclectic tastes of the hotel’s global clientele while remaining true to its relaxed modern atmosphere.
Raw Bar offerings include a variety of Pacific and Eastern Oysters including the Rockefeller Style Oyster with creamy spinach, pernod and kumamoto. An assortment of hand roll sushi and classic seaside favorites like Miso Brass Crostini and Ceviche Plantains help to round out the Raw Bar menu. Additionally, dishes like Ginger Chicken Meatballs, Grilled Salmon Fillet, Chicken Milanese, Risotto Bowl with Spring Vegetables and Avocado Toast with Scrambled Eggs are offered on the all-day menu.
