Bowlero Corporation launched a nationwide search for its next Bowling Shoe Designer – The #BeBowled: Shoe Design Challenge to give their bowling shoes a much-needed makeover. The campaign is as an open call to all up and coming shoe designers, creatives and bowling fanatics around the U.S. to reinvent the traditional bowling shoe. Both aspiring designers and bowling’s biggest fans have the chance to put their creative talents to the test redesigning a new shoe for a new era in bowling entertainment.
Here’s how it works! Contestants can officially enter their design submissions online submitting their best designs now through April 16. In late April, five finalists will be announced and in late June they will be flown to New York City to see their designs live during an epic fashion show set on the lanes at Bowlmor’s Times Square flagship location.
What’s at stake? A cash prize of $2,500 and something way more important: Legacy. The winning designer will see her/his shoe professionally designed, produced, and distributed to more than 75 Bowlero and Bowlmor locations nationwide, rolling out in 2019.
