Happy Place, a massive pop-up experience in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, is now open through January 7, 2018. The blogger-friendly pop-up is filled with larger than life size installations, multi-sensory immersive rooms and dozens of selfie moments curated to find your happy place. Guests will smile through 13 rooms filled with colorful insta-worthy moments made to inspire happiness.
The photo-obsessed can blow out candles on a giant birthday cake and jump into a pot with over 25,000 coins decorated with smiley faces off a larger than life rainbow. The Candy Room is dedicated to those with a sweet tooth for shoes and features 7-foot tall high heels made with over 1 million candies and samples of Custom Happy Place M&M’s for guests to try. In a nod to California, the Paradise Room feels like an exotic island with wallpapered walls featuring doodles of palm trees in vibrant purples and greens via the imagination of renowned artist, Steven Harrington. The world’s largest Confetti Dome will make you feel like a kid again as you twirl around surrounded by half a million pieces of confetti.
Those with happy feet and an appetite can head over to Happy Place’s backyard, which includes a photo booth, lemonade stand, popsicle truck, classic lawn games hang-spot and retail store centered around an authentic 1950’s retro RV. Happy Place’s food truck also serves up a specially crafted menu featuring a variety of delicious Happy themed items including drool-worthy Rainbow Grilled Cheese!
