Skydog Sanctuary, the ranch and rescue home for wild mustangs, hosted an event at their Malibu ranch to raise awareness on their cause and reach for volunteers on September 16. Guest in attendance included Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) sisters Kyle and Kim Richards along with supermodel Rachel Hunter.
Skydog is a non-profit organization that provides sanctuary for at-risk mustang horses that have wound up in kill pens, at auction, or being neglected, starved, or abused. They have three locations in Malibu, CA, Calabasas, CA, and Bend, OR. Every year over 150,000 American horses are sent to be inhumanely slaughtered and many of those are mustangs. Skydog Sanctuary’s biggest, most important mission is to shine a spotlight on the issues facing wild horses while continuing to rescue as many as possible.
