Known for their lavish nightlight spots, the h.wood Group, debuted their newest venue, ‘Poppy’, which debuted on August 24. Located in the previous STK Restaurant space on La Cienega Blvd, the new venue design was inspired by Gucci’s latest collection combined with current trends in culture and fashion with surrealist and literary references. Designer John Sofio recreated the Gucci-inspired vision with a garden-inspired entrance leading into two main euphoric experiences, the kaleidoscope library and the fashion-inspired atrium. Poppy’s deìcor includes vaulted arched ceilings, acid-stained antique mirrors, sweeping angles and floral designed tones.
Jeremy Scott and UGG hosted their collaboration kickoff with a star-studded soiree at Poppy following the MTV VMAs with show host Katy Perry, Jared Leto, Paris Jackson and Lil Yachty in attendance. H.Wood Group’s portfolio of other celeb-fav nightlight spots include Bootsy Bellows, Delilah, Nice Guy and Peppermint Club.
