The red carpet has seen an assortment of strong and unique fashion from the most stunning women in Hollywood. Here’s our roundup of those who made our best-dressed list this awards season!
Janelle Monae
Not only has Janelle Monae dominated in both music and film, but she also conquered the red carpet with her trademark black and white ensembles. We loved the Cover Girl’s polka dot and sequin bodysuit dress by Armani Privé paired with sparkling Giuseppe sandals and a Jimmy Choo clutch at the Golden Globes. When it came to jewels, she went with Forevermark Diamonds, wearing their diamond cuff earrings, a couple of diamond rings and diamond bangles all set in 18k white gold.
Taraji P. Henson
There’s always that one showstopper on every red carpet and Taraji P. Henson killed it at the SAG Awards in her whimsical mauve Reem Acra dress. She edged it up with a short wavy bob, revealing a shaved side that only Cookie Lion could pull off. Jewels were kept minimal, only wearing wing-shaped diamond earrings and a couple of diamond rings.
Jennifer Lopez
She is on every best dressed list and there’s no way she was going to escape ours after another winning look at the People’s Choice Awards in a form-fitting black dress detailed with a sheer beaded bust by our fashion fav Reem Acra. The Shades of Blue star kept her hair simple by pulling it back into a sleek ponytail, showing off H. Stern noble diamond draped earrings with a matching set of rings that sparkled against her glittering Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.
Solange Knowles
Not only did she win her first Grammy this year, but Solange won the red carpet as well in her gold pleated metallic Gucci dress. She was hands down the best dressed at the Grammy’s, in a beautifully structured dress, exposing one shoulder and a thigh high slit, giving us some 70’s glam. Her natural curls were sky high, but kept her makeup light with a nude pout. She topped off her look with I Love You and Lady Grey earrings.
Naomie Harris
It’s all about taking risks and trying something new on the red carpet and Naomie Harris successfully delivered a risk-worthy look at the Oscars in her white sequined Calvin Klein by Appointment dress. Her modern knee length dress featured a sweetheart strapless bra with a sexy cutout at her bust. Former Bond Girl, turned star of Oscar winning Moonlight, Naomi paired her white number with vibrant yellow heels and Bulgari chandelier earrings.
