The Disney Channel premiered its 101st movie, The Swap, at the Arclight Theatre in Los Angeles. Starring Peyton List and Jacob Bertrand, The Swap is based on a novel written by Megan Shull by the same title. The story follows Jack and Ellie, two friends feeling the pressure to achieve more in their extracurricular activities–Ellie with her rhythmic gymnastics and Jack with his hockey. After exchanging texts wishing they had each other’s seemingly easy lives, the two swap bodies… and their lives are turned upside down.
The Swap soundtrack was created by Disney’s resident composer Kenneth Burgomasters (Hannah Montana/Wizards of Waverly Place) pictured below with the film’s starts.
