Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles teamed up with the Los Angeles Rams to welcome them back to LA and kick off the inaugural “Los Angeles Rams Night for Wishes” at Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails in Hollywood on September 21. The charity event was hosted by Rams middle linebacker Alec Ogletree and the NFL Network’s Kara Henderson Snead.
Other Rams players in attendance included safety linebacker Bryce Hager, quarterback Case Keenum, kicker Greg Zuerlein, long snapper Jake McQuaide, quarterback Jared Goff, punter Johnny Hekker, linebacker Josh Forrest, linebacker Mark Barron, wide receiver Nelson Spruce, wide receiver Pharoh Cooper, safety T.J. McDonald, running back Todd Gurley, cornerback Trumaine Johnson, tight end Tyler Higbee, defensive end Will Hayes, defensive end Robert Quinn and defensive end Eugene Sims.
The event and auction raised funds to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions in L.A. County. Make-A-Wish children in attendance were able to meet and interview Rams players about their wishes, as well as mingle with the cheerleaders and team mascot Rampage. Over the last 20 years, the Rams have raised over $2 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in St. Louis and continue their partnership in their new home in Los Angeles.
