ESPN The Party
ESPN hosted its 12th annual Super Bowl event, ‘ESPN The Party’, on February 5, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. In conjunction with the release of ESPN The Magazine’s Super Bowl issue, the event featured a special live performance by multi-platinum selling GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Nick Jonas, who was joined by brother Joe and his new band, DNCE in a surprise performance of their latest hit “Cake by the Ocean.” Nick also performed hits such as “Chains,” “Levels,” and “Jealous” as well as an acoustic version of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” among others. Others celebs and athletes in attendance included Anthony Hamilton, Antonio Brown, Marcedes Lewis, Tim Tebow, Jerome Bettis, Chanel Iman, Victor Cruz, Reggie Bush and Charles Woodson. The 2016 Maxim and Bootsy Bellows Party
Maxim Magazine collaborated with Bootsy Bellows and Karma International during the biggest weekend in football on February 6. The 2016 Maxim Party took place on Treasure Island at a 50,000 square foot waterfront property. The Maxim Party footprint included The Party pavilion with a private Bootsy Bellows pop up for VIPs and sweeping views of the city, bay and bridges. The exclusive affair, produced by Karma International, had an outstanding talent line up featuring hip hop recording artist A$AP Rocky and a special performance by Lil Wayne. Other celebs in attendance included Ludacris, Alyssa Milano, David Arquette, Odell Beckham Jr and Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach. The event included multiple interactive areas, highlighted by the Dodge Thrill Ride Experience, where guests were provided with an opportunity to feel the rapid acceleration of Dodge Vipers, Charger SRT and Challenger SRT Hellcat vehicles as a professional driver took guests on a spin around the waterfront driving course. Pepsi’s Kola House Celebration
Pepsi hosted a party at Pier 70 to celebrate Kola House – a new bar, lounge and experiential space opening in NYC this spring. Swizz Beatz provided the soundtrack for the party and guests such as Jenne Lombardo got a taste of what’s to come to the NYC location – craft cocktails from Kola House resident cocktail curator Alex Ott and artisanal bites incorporating the kola nut. Rolling Stone Super Bowl Party
Rolling Stone out some of Hollywood’s finest and a slew of celebs and athletes including Shaquille O’Neal, Usher, Future, Kevin Durant and 2015 NBA MVP Stephen Curry, who arrived with his wife Ayesha Curry. Elle King kicked off the night with a hot performance of her hit song Ex’s & Oh’s. Madden Bowl XXII
The annual first staple party of Super Bowl week, EA SPORTS’ Madden Bowl XXII, at the San Francisco Masonic Center was one of the best Madden Bowls to date. The night featured special musical appearances by DJ Khaled, Ludacris and Fall Out Boy, and saw Eric Berry crowned the ultimate victor after defeating Jordan Reed in Madden NFL 16. Mercedes-Benz Unveils Special Edition “Super Bowl 50” G550
As part of the Super Bowl 50 festivities, Jamie Foxx joined Mercedes-Benz for a ride in the Iron Schöckl. Set up outside of AT&T Park as a way for the brand to engage fans, the Iron Schöckl featured a G-Class SUV, one of the most powerful and rugged models in the Mercedes-Benz lineup.
