Cali-based surf and skate brand RVCA has moved beyond the surf/skate apparel to include edgy, fashion-forward designs mixing the board sport world into fashion for women. The clothing travels from the posh shelves of vendors like Nordstroms and Urban Outfitters, chic boutiques and tiny, independent surf/skate shops.
The RVCA Women’s Holiday Collection blends Southern California surfer cool with iconoclastic bohemianism, featuring comfort transitional pieces for ease of use in-between seasons and activities. It includes a capsule collection from model Ashley Smith that channels the punk rock days of her youth. It’s a modern twist on late 70’s punk style with a nod to Vivienne Westwood. This collection is a fluid juxtaposition of athletic styling mixed with romantic prints, colors and fabrics.
Also featured in holiday is the newly launched Sunday Collection, a loungewear capsule of undergarments designed to make you feel good. With soft fabrics and novelty detail, the collection includes stylish, comfortable, relaxed fit layering pieces meant to be worn under the most simple of dresses or by themselves that can easily transition from at-home comfort to the streets. The collection will soon expand with more pieces that transition to the street.
The RVCA 2015 Holiday Collection is filled with some of our favorite pieces including dresses, rompers, low-cut cotton tanks, skirt sets as well as signature grungy cool pieces, including a long-sleeve maxi dress, skinny jeans, loose-fitting sweaters, off-shoulder tees and blazers detailed with zippers.
