In honor of the 67th Emmys Awards, some of the biggest names in Hollywood flocked to Extra’s 1st Annual Weekend Of | Lounge in celebration of an extraordinary year in television. Hosted by Extra’s Mario Lopez and Tracey Edmonds, the pre-Emmy gift lounge was held September 18 and 19 at The London West Hollywood. Emmy nominees and celebs such as Zendaya, Felicity Huffman, Anthony Anderson, Alan Cumming and Laverne Cox were treated an array of innovative new products and walked away with amazing gifts, fabulous services and luxury brands before the awards show from Simmons Beautyrest, Centrum VitaMints, Cottonelle Luxe On-Demand Valet Parking, Hovertrax by Inventist, Jamberry, Sabra, WowWee, Le Mieux Skin Perfecter, Ultimate Ears, Rum Diplomático and more!
At the suite, Zendaya, a strong believer in taking vitamins to “feel good”, was thrilled to learn that Centrum had VitaMints, a multivitamin that also serves as a minty refresher and scored some Le Mieux Skin Perfecter product to cleanse and exfoliate her naturally beautiful complexion. Before heading out, Zendaya stopped by Cottonelle’s “Go Commando” campaign booth, which promotes a clean and confident lifestyle.
Funnyman Anthony Anderson, the breakout “Blackish” star and 2015 nominee for “Lead Actor in a Comedy Series”, brought his screen-family together including Marsai Martin, Yara Shahidi and Miles Brown, for pillow talk while seated on a Simmons Beautyrest mattress before heading to Jamberry for a quick manicure.
Felicity Huffman, “American Crime” actress and 2015 Emmy nominee for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie” slipped on a pair of New Balance Vazee Rush sneakers, expressing her excitment to be on site in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Gifting a gift that keeps giving, New Balance treated celebs to a pair of New Balance sneakers and made a donation to Susan G. Komen on behalf of each celeb that attended, while also offering up an additional donation of Lace Up for the Cure Vazee Pace sneakers to a survivor or cosurvivor of their choice.
Stunning Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox learned about the new Luxe on demand valet service app and mentioned that she was moving to Los Angeles soon, so would need to learn how to “actually drive”; while “Dancing With the Stars” champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy thumbed through the DSTLD Premium Denim clothing racks to pick out pieces from their new collection.
Embracing his inner child and newfound fascination for gadgets, Alan Cumming, “The Good Wife” actor and 2015 Emmy nominee for “Best Drama Supporting Actor,” zoomed around on the Hovertrax by Inventist personal transportation device, but hesitated when dropping the Ultimate Ears UE Boom 2 speaker on the ground during a demonstration. He was shocked to see the “lifeproof” device didn’t shatter into pieces.
