The 22nd Annual Race to Erase MS event raised over $1.7 million to benefit the Race to Erase MS and its Center Without Walls program, a collaboration of top MS research centers working together as a team on ground-breaking research to treat and ultimately cure MS. Race to Erase MS continued its legacy of incredible musical performances this year including Rita Ora who sang hits including Doing It, I Will Never Let You Down, and Black Widow. Additionally, Grammy Award-winning artist Ne-Yo sang an incredible set which included Sexy Love, So Sick, She Knows, and more.
The event included a live auction, during which lucky bidders walked away with items including a trip to Hawaii, Greece, an experience with Larry King and a stay on an Illusions Yacht. The big item of the night was a Bespoke Aston Martin Vanquish, commissioned by Tommy Hilfiger that Robert Herjavec from “Shark Tank” walked away with. It is the hope of Race to Erase MS that in addition to raising funds to combat MS through research in a clinical environment, awareness will also be created by educating the public about this mysterious disease.
