Nas was honored in recognition of his influence on hip-hop culture over the past two decades at the VIBE Impact Awards held on January 24, 2014 at Cardondelet House in Los Angeles. The annual event honors entertainers whose accomplishments have changed pop culture. During the event, Swizz Beatz and J. Cole took the stage to honor the legendary emcee and presented the VIBE Impact Award to the hip hop icon. Nas looked dapper in a lime green Tom Ford jacket and accepted the award while thanking everyone who ever had a hand in his success.
