Executive Producers Joanna Coles and Sarah Watson along with the cast of Freeform’s newest scripted original series, “The Bold Type” celebrated at the New York premiere screening at The Roxy Hotel on June 22. Guests noshed on specialty pink rose cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and were treated to a Q&A panel with the cast and producers. After a lively discussion with the cast, Executive Producer Sarah Watson thanked “Sex & the City” for paving the way and shared that “The Bold Type” is a chance to tell the story of young women in this different day and age, where women can find their voice while having the confidence to say what they want.

After the panel, guests celebrated by sipping on specialty “Bold and Bubbly” cocktails and enjoyed yummy appetizers like chicken and waffles at the cocktail party inside The Roxy at Paul’s Lounge. “The Bold Type” is set to premiere on Freeform, Tuesday, July 11 at 9PM ET/PT.
