NALIP presented the Latino Media Awards at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles on June 24. The awards were hosted by Kristina Guerrero and included a special performance by Jessica Brizuela. Honorees included Zoe Saldana who received the Outstanding Achievement in Film Award, Ivonne Coll who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, Kate del Castillo who received the Outstanding Achievement in Television Award, and Tony Revolori who received the Lupe Award.

The Latino Media Awards was a highlight of the NALIP Media Summit, that took place June 22-25. One of the largest annual gatherings of Latinos in the media field nationwide, the NALIP Media Summit was presented by HBO and hosted by the National Association of Latino Independent Producers.
