BET Experience
Get ready for four days of the hottest music and endless entertainment June 23-26 at LA Live! Kicking off the BET Awards Weekend, the BET Experience line-up will feature some of today’s hottest talents including Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Desiigner, Jhené Aiko, Khalid, A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane, Rae Sremmurd, and Migos. The four-day event will showcase the best in music, comedy, and entertainment. Interactive activations and ticketed shows including a celebrity basketball game will also take place at the Free BET Experience Fan Fest at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Essence Music Festival
Over the years, the ESSENCE Festival has become known as the ‘party with a purpose.’ It is one of the highlights of the New Orleans music scene. The festival will offer even more celebrity access, television, and film sneak peeks and exclusive performances than ever before, rounding out the event’s daytime experience—which is free and open-to-the-public. The festival will be taking place June 30-July 2 in New Orleans. This year’s lineup includes Diana Ross, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Solange, Chaka Khan, India.Arie, and more.
Megafest
Megafest is a four-day festival of faith, film, music, and family oriented events hosted in Dallas, Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center June 28-July 1. Festivalgoers will enjoy performances by award-winning artists, as well as upcoming talent from around the world. This event is expected to attract more than 100,000 attendees. An all-star lineup of speakers from near and far will stimulate your mind and soul, including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Devon Franklin, Cicely Tyson, Robert Townsend, Angela Simmons, and Lateef Sarnor.
Los Angeles Soul Music Festival
The Los Angeles Soul Music Festival will kick-off its sophomore season on the cultural, south lawn grounds of Exposition Park in Los Angeles July 14-16. Thousands of R&B and soul music fans will assemble for three, sultry nights under the summer skies to watch their favorite performers live on stage. Merging the worlds of classic soul with modern-day acts, performers include Kindred the Family Soul, Avant, Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh, Anthony Hamilton, Tyrese, Carl Thomas, Tony! Toni! Tone!, Musiq Soulchild, Blackstreet, and Dave Hollister.
FYF Fest
At FYF Fest, the worlds of hip-hop, indie rock and electronic music will collide in Los Angeles July 21-23. The acts include Missy Elliott, Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Solange, Anderson Paak, MGMT, Kehlani, and more.
Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza is an annual music festival featuring popular alternative rock, hip hop, dance and comedy performances. This year it takes place at Grant Park in Chicago August 3-6. Lollapalooza will showcase headlining sets by Chance The Rapper, Lorde, Blink-182, and many more.
