Skai Jackson along with television stars Gabe Eggerling, Madisyn Shipman, and Landry Bender joined the No Kid Hungry Breakfast Celebration at the Potrero School in the El Monte, California. The goal of No Kid Hungry is to recognize how schools are implementing innovative breakfast solutions to help students get the food they need so they can grow, learn, and achieve more. The celeb No Kid Hungry supporters visited students in their classrooms to discuss the importance of eating a healthy breakfast, and to learn more about solutions like breakfast-in-the-classroom, an alternative model that is increasing student access to breakfast.

In March, to celebrate National School Breakfast Week, El Monte City School District hosted a “My Perfect Breakfast” contest, which encouraged students to illustrate their idea of the perfect breakfast meal. The celebs met the contest winner and joined students for a tasting of the winning meal, which is now featured on the school menu. Since the launch of the No Kid Hungry campaign, there are now three million more kids getting breakfast in the morning.
