Hotel Costes
The official jetsetter and industry elitist hang out! The interior is a juxtaposition of dark and gaudy but inviting, romantic yet mysterious. If you ask 3 people their take on Hotel Costes, you will get 3 different answers varying from pretentious and overrated to trendy and exclusive. Either way, it is by far the “IT” place to see and be seen. Aside from some A-list people watching, they are known for probably the best cheesecake you’ve ever had in your life, just ask Kim Kardashian who raves about it. An impressive courtyard and staff who look like they’ve been models in another lifetime, seems to be no coincidence, and it may be close to impossible to snag a table here during Paris fashion week.
Hotel Le Meurice
A breathtaking ambiance, Le Meurice boasts of the finest chandeliers and extravagant opulence located adjacent from the famed Tuileries Garden between the Louvre Museum and Place de la Concorde. Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Harrison Ford, and Kate Moss are just a few who have frequented the Michelin starred restaurant amongst numerous others. The Palace turned hotel was landscaped by the famous gardener of King Louis XIV, and for that alone, be prepared to pay a pretty penny (or Euro) for this opulent dining experience.
Hotel De Sers- Le Restaurant De Sers
With recently completed renovations, Hotel De Sers has become the official host hotel of the French Open while catering to Paris Fashion Week crowds. Celebrities who have frequented this gem include Justin Bieber, Enrique Iglesias, Lady Gaga, and Kelly Rowland. The décor is tasteful and welcoming and the balcony views are brilliant. The courtyard is cozy and would be ideal for an intimate meeting whether personal or professional. With its classically inspired elegance and design, the celebrity appeal is its boutique charm, cozy lounge, and elegant garden restaurant terrace. Modern French cuisine, a celebrity sighting or two, and luxurious private comfort make this stop or stay a no-brainer.
L’Avenue
Tucked away in the Fashionable 16th Arrondissement, L’Avenue has become the ultimate rendezvous staple in Paris with French delicacies, gourmet cocktails, and some of the most beautiful faces you’ve ever seen while dining. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation, be prepared for the overzealous bill. All is not in vain though as you may be lucky enough to brush shoulders with stars such as Rihanna, Jessica Alba, Lana Del Rey, and Denzel Washington.
Davé
Exclusive, Exclusive, Exclusive! Be prepared to be respectfully rejected if you even attempt to visit during Paris Fashion Week or any other high profile week for that matter. While this Hollywood-like gem has seen more glamorous days, a visit here can still be intriguing and enjoyable. The epitome of a cult-like haven, Davé has hosted legends from Alexander McQueen to David Bowie (RIP). Dave was and still is frequented by an impressive list such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Iman, Cindy Crawford, Mick Jagger and more. Take the girls here for a Rendezvous and you’ll be able to brag about its unique and inconspicuous history.
Le Fouquets
Perfectly situated on the corner of Avenue George V and Champs Elysees, Le Fouquets provides an exceptional yet pricey fine dining experience and great meeting place if your looking impress your joining party. The Traditional restaurant is apart of the legendary Hotel Barriere with an engaging view of the popular Champs Elysees, ideal for people watching, complete with an impressive wine collection. While this hotspot has become somewhat of a tourist trap, it never loses its charm while serving the elite. The history behind Fouquets began with the Cinema boom in the 1930’s and this has carried on almost a century later. As an added charm, high profile guests of the Fouquet family have their own engraved napkin rings. This unique gesture was added in the 80’s as their “loyalty program” and is still enjoyed by celebrities from Bruce Willis to Liza Minnelli.
Ferdi
A favorite of locals far before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West began frequenting, Ferdi opened in one of Paris’ most luxurious neighborhoods, which was once a cozy hotspot for the fashion elite. At any given day you could find anyone from Christian Louboutin to Marc Jacobs indulging in the popular Brazilian & Venezuelan Cuisine. The décor is an odd collection of family photos, toys, and celebrities and calling it intimate is a generous stretch. Don’t expect 5-star delicacies here, instead, you’ll indulge in a first class dining experience with a simplistic menu that consists of the famous Ferdi burger, risotto, enchiladas, truffle fries, mac & cheese, and the famous puree cocktails with a churro a la carte. Prices are moderate and the quality of food is what keeps their loyal clientele coming back for more.
Le Yoyo
This unique destination is located under the Palais de Tokyo, a contemporary art museum within an arc deco cinema, just a short walk from the Eifel Tower. The modern-chic Le Yoyo is frequented by top International DJ’s to artist such as Robin Thicke. Known for hosting an array of fashion parties and soiree’s, this venue inside the art district can rival top Vegas nightclubs. Open since 2013, think street art and neon lights with a dash of urban sophistication. This is merely for the young and restless.
Pershing Hall
A gorgeous floral courtyard garden and graceful atmosphere, Pershing Hall rivals an elaborate staged production from a Disney movie. You can hang out in the lounge upstairs, or dine at an exquisite dinner below with its modern ambience and chic bar. The elaborate décor is certainly what you’re paying for to rendezvous here. The Romeo & Juliet-like balconies have an enchanted aesthetic that draws in the young and old. The food is nothing to rave about however you never know who you may brush shoulders with while hanging out in the chic lounge. When in town, Salma Hayek is a regular amongst many French celebs and international VIP’s. This is by far one of the most popular trendy hangouts before you hit the City of Light.
Triangle d’Or (Golden Triangle)
A sophisticated shopping lovers paradise, be prepared to bask in fashion heaven as it gives the famous Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive a run for its money. From Avenue Montaigne, Ave George V, and Rue Francois 1er, the high-end designer shops attracts celebrities and fashionista’s from all over the world, who flock to this shopping paradise for its exclusive haute couture boutiques and over 50 flagship stores. Gucci, Chanel, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Ferragamo, Christian Lacroix, Dior and the world famous Louis Vuitton are just a few that draws in luxury consumers worldwide. Celebrity sightings include Beyoncé, Jay Z, Mariah Carey, David & Victoria Beckham, Halle Berry, Madonna and more. Need a quick break from all the shopping? Stop by Plaza Athenee and enjoy a striking contemporary décor with gourmet cocktails at Le Bar du Plaza Athene or if you’ve worked up an appetite a few steps away will lead you to a fabulous Parisian Brasserie at Le Relais Plaze.
