W Las Vegas held a private preview event at the W Los Angeles where guests got a behind-the-scenes look at the hottest hotel slated to hit the Las Vegas strip this year. Celebs in attendance included Alessandra Ambrosio, Jesse Metcalfe, Cara Santana and Ian Zeiring. Festivities included exciting performances that nodded to the spirit of Sin City, including an Elvis appearance, Vegas contortionists, flashy showgirls and the iconic cabaret singer, Lady Rizo. Guests sipped on hand-crafted specialty cocktails and even tried their hands at Craps and Roulette, building continued excitement around the December 1, 2016 W Las Vegas Grand Opening.
Designed by Gensler Architects and AvroKO, W Las Vegas remixes its desert locale with the electric lights of the legendary Strip. The result is 289 bold guest rooms and suites, all complete with the brand’s signature Bliss amenities, housed within the lux tower of SLS Las Vegas on the north end of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Guests can mix and mingle at world-class dining venues including Bazaar Meat by José Andrés; Katsuya; Cleo; Umami Burger; 800 Degrees Neopolitan Pizza; Northside Café; and The Perq; along with coveted nightlife venues such as Foxtail, The Foundry, Sayers Club Las Vegas and the SLS Las Vegas Casino.
