The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) celebrated its 27th annual ‘A Time For Heroes’ family festival at Smashbox Studios in Culver City on October 23. Elizabeth Glaser’s son and EGPAF Ambassador, Jake Glaser, was joined by his father, actor Paul Michael Glaser, and celebrity heroes including Heidi Klum, Tori Spelling, Donald Faison, Tia Mowry, Gilles Marini, Mario Lopez, Dania Ramirez, Garcelle Beauvais and Skai Jackson.
Families in attendance enjoyed fun activities, including the Nickelodeon Animation Station, Cinema Makeup School play station, a Revlon art installation, a “mad scientist” exploration station, Happy Socks custom sock printing, human bowling, basketball toss, Activision video games and face painting. Musical sensation Laura Marano also dazzled guests on stage with a live performance of her singles, “LaLa” and “Boombox”.
With a mission to work towards ending AIDS in children worldwide, EGPAF is the global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV/ AIDS and has reached more than 25 million women with services to prevent transmission of HIV to their babies. EGPAF is currently supporting activities in 19 countries and nearly 5,500 sites to implement prevention, care, and treatment services.
