The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and InStyle hosted their annual evening affair at The Windsor Arms Hotel in celebration of the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival on September 11. The evening was presented by luxury Italian fashion brand, Max Mara, for the second consecutive year, and designed by Frank Rea of Forget Me Not Flowers of Oakville, CA. The star-studded guest list included Amy Adams, Anne Hathaway, Dakota Fanning, Gabrielle Union, Janelle Monáe, Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, Pharrell Williams and Taraji P. Henson.

The Windsor Arms was adorned with a lush white Phalaenopsis orchid garden conservatory that suspended overhead set amidst a starlit canopy. Guests mixed and mingled while enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres like lobster cappuccino in an espresso cup and Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, with main courses that included a live sushi station, beef wellington, and vegan mushroom and green pea risotto. Attendees enjoyed dancing into the early morning with music provided by MICK as sweet treats were being served like macarons, mini raspberry baked Alaska’s, and an assortment of petit fours.
