Fashion designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais premiered Collection 3 of their label Wolk Morais in a fashion show at a special edition night of the legendary Giorgio’s Night Club at The Standard Hotel in West Hollywood on May 24. This marks the designers’ third showing of their eponymous label since their arrival in Los Angeles from New York City.
The Wolk Morais label focuses on the concept of season-less dressing, hence the designers’ decision to number their collections rather than adhering to classic conventions. This gives the designers the ability to include fabrications and silhouettes that are defined by their integrity and usefulness rather than a retail delivery window.
This new Wolk Morais collection, which is designed, sourced, and manufactured in Los Angeles, is an ode to the smoky allure of Hollywood’s infamous nightlife and the paparazzi imagery that documents it. Working with stylist Elizabeth Stewart, the designers continue to illustrate California-centric stories in this after-hours inspired collection.
