Sports Spectacular hosted their 31st Annual Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular Gala on March 25th at the W Hotel in West Beverly Hills where they honored both the entire Los Angeles Clippers team along with current Super Bowl MVP Denver Broncos LB Von Miller. The Los Angeles Clippers were specifically honored with the community spirit award for their charitable work in the local LA community. Kevin Frazier, John Salley and Jim Hill hosted the evening’s festivities with local LA band Ozomatli performing. Other athletics in attendance included Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Doc Rivers, Jamal Crawford, Paul Pierce, John Salley, Baron Davis and DeAndre Jordan.
This year’s gala benefited the Sports Spectacular Health & Wellness Center at Cedars-Sinai and these initiatives, as well as furthering the foundation’s mission of linking world-class athletes and innovative medical research to advance healthier futures for all. Sports Spectacular has raised more than $25 million for the Center in an effort to combat diabetes and obesity by funding new medical research and encouraging healthy eating and exercise.
