Lucky Samsung Pay users were treated to an all-expense-paid trip to Los Angeles including a private black-tie New Year’s Eve party and exclusive concert featuring platinum-selling recording artist, Usher at Fonda Theater on December 31. Guests enjoyed open bar, appetizers, party favors and an intimate performance from Usher, who sang his top hits including, “Yeah”, “Confessions II”, “Without You”, “DJ Got Us Falling in Love” and more. At the stroke of midnight, confetti erupted from the stage and balloons dropped from the ceiling as Usher poured champagne for fans in the front row.

Select Samsung Pay users from around the country were surprised on Christmas day with news that they had won round-trip airfare, accommodations and tickets to spend New Year’s Eve with Usher from Samsung Pay’s nationwide shopping mall promotion where customers entered for a chance to win tickets to the exclusive New Year’s Eve Party and concert. Shoppers who activated Samsung Pay at one of the nearly 50 mall locations across the U.S. had the chance to win two round-trip tickets to Los Angeles, hotel accommodations and tickets to attend the Samsung Pay NYE party.

Samsung Pay, a mobile payment service from Samsung Electronics, allows consumers to use a Samsung phone to pay almost anywhere they can swipe or tap a card.
