Floyd Mayweather, Chris Pratt & Salma Hayek Honored at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards
Some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports were honored the coveted mantlers at Spike TV’s 2015 Guys Choice Awards on June 6 at Sony Pictures Studios. Hosted by Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson, honorees included Floyd Mayweather who won the “TBE” (The Best Ever) award, Chelsea Handler who was the first female ever to be awarded for the “Funniest M.F.” award and Salma Hayek who received the “Decade of Hotness” honor.
Also taking home mantlers included host Taraji P. Henson who accepted the “Jean-Claude Gahd Dam” award, Liam Neeson as “Biggest Ass Kicker,” Chris Pratt taking home the “Guy of the Year” award, Hannah Davis as “Our New Girlfriend,” Russell Westbrook as “Top Fantasy Leaguer,” and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson receiving a special tribute.
During the show, LL COOL J, host of “Lip Sync Battle,” was honored with the special “G.O.A.T.” (Greatest Of All Time) award recognizing the icon’s 30 years in the business. This anniversary moment featured a very special performance by LL celebrating the monumental three decades of his career.
In keeping with Spike’s year-round efforts to support the nation’s servicemen and women, “Guys Choice” featured inspiring moments saluting the troops and returning veterans. Catch all the action when the show premieres on Thursday, June 18 at 9p ET/PT on Spike TV.
