Sports Spectacular held their annual awards show featuring the elite of the sports world on May 31 at the Century Plaza Hotel. The event, now in its 30th year, celebrated the anniversary with many high-profile athletes and celebrities in support of Sports Spectacular’s efforts to create a healthier future for all. Russell Westbrook, Tommy Caldwell & Kevin Jorgeson, the Los Angeles Kings and Larry Miller were honored with an award for their support of health & wellness. Other athletes & celebs in attendance included presenter, Joe Jonas, Jason Collins, Victor Ortiz, Robert Horry and Baron Davis.

Specifically dedicated to linking world-class athletes and innovative medical research to improve everyday lives and eradicating diabetes and obesity through research, prevention and education, the Gala and auction benefited Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Over the past 30 years, Sports Spectacular has raised more than $24 million to benefit Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
