Karl Kani’s iconic streetwear classics got a reboot with the debut of the Prettylittlething x Karl Kani Collection. The fashion duo celebrated the exclusive new collection with a party on May 22 at Nightingale Plaza in Los Angeles, where it was transformed into a 90’s playground using Karl’s signature multi stripes throughout with vintage convertibles spread along the entrance, boom boxes, arcade games and a graffiti artist spray painting the walls. The star-studded bash was filled with celebs including Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown, Tyga, and Christina Millian with surprise performances by Snoop Dogg and Ma$e.

The Prettylittlething X Karl Kani collection designs are based on the heritage and history of the Karl Kani streetwear brand with a PLT twist. Staying true to the 90’s legacy, this collection is all about paying homage to the styles of the Karl Kani movement that infused hip-hop and street culture. In the campaign, cover girl Teyana Taylor went back to her roots and hit the streets of Harlem representing the originator of urban fashion. The colorful collection is filled with sporty separates, fresh outerwear, swimwear, loungewear, denim and accessories with an urban edge.
