All eyes were on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’” Doris Kemsley who introduced her new Spring/Summer 2018 swimsuit collection, Beach Beverly by Dorit, during an exhilarant fashion show on October 22 at Nordstrom’s Trunk Club in Los Angeles.
The invite-only red carpet event opened to an intimate and elegant cocktail party joined by Real Housewives stars Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd, Kyle Richards, Mauricio Umansky, Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Camille Grammar, and P.K. Kemsley. The show’s newest cast member, Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave, was also on hand in addition to more than 200 Angeleno socialites, who gathered to support the cast member and designer in celebration of her latest fashion designs. Enthusiastically proclaiming her return to the fashion world after a 5-year hiatus since taking time off to have a family, Dorit gleamed as she made her way around the room that hosted a captivating compilation of her previous line’s artwork and model photos while she received praises from the crowd.
At the spacious and lavish Culver City clubhouse space, guests reveled in a stunning industrial-turned-beach venue that was transformed by installations of life-sized palm trees and an alluring draped tunnel leading to the main event. Models strutted down a 40-foot long white runway donning simple yet stylish modern, sultry one and two-piece suits in a vibrant spectrum of sleek designs and neutral tones. Sporting a “fresh out of the water” beach look, models flaunted sexy, slicked-back hair and dewy cheeks as they paraded down the catwalk in teeny bikinis, flowing coverups and oversized hats. The show ended with a standing ovation, as Dorit waltzed down the runway in appreciation to a dazzled audience.
Throughout the event, guests nibbled on savory hors d’ oeuvres, sipped on tasty libations and specialty cocktails by Absolut Elyx, and enjoyed a Beverly Beach swag bag takeaway.
