After more than 25 years as one of Los Angeles’ most recognizable seafood destinations, The Lobster has officially launched weekend brunch for the first time in the restaurant’s history, marking a major new chapter for the iconic Santa Monica restaurant. Perched at the entrance to the Santa Monica Pier with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, the Michelin-recognized restaurant has long been known for elevated coastal dining, fresh seafood and one of the most scenic dining locations in Southern California. Now, the celebrated oceanfront destination is bringing that same upscale approach to brunch service every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with its newly introduced “Brunch with a View” experience.
Under the direction of acclaimed chef Govind Armstrong, the new brunch menu blends classic comfort dishes with refined coastal flavors and premium seafood ingredients. Signature menu highlights include Lobster Eggs Benedict and Cured Salmon Eggs Benedict, both offering elevated takes on brunch staples, alongside indulgent dishes such as Korean Fried Chicken & Waffles and Cereal-Crusted French Toast. Seafood remains at the center of the experience with offerings like Deviled Eggs topped with jumbo lump crab and caviar, as well as the restaurant’s signature Seafood Tower featuring an abundant assortment of shellfish and fresh seafood selections designed for sharing. Additional brunch dishes include Shrimp & Grits, a White Asparagus and Dungeness Crab Omelet and a hearty 10-ounce Ribeye Steak & Eggs.
The beverage program complements the seafood-forward menu with an extensive lineup of brunch cocktails, champagne, Bloody Marys, mimosas, fresh-pressed juices and specialty coffees. Guests can also enjoy elevated mocktails and tropical-inspired cocktails such as the Not Yo Mama’s Mai Tai while overlooking unobstructed 180-degree views of the Santa Monica coastline, Malibu and the Pacific Ocean.
